DLOBML CHAPTER 57

Chapter 57: The Stallion ML Meltdown (9) | Mom, I Want to Marry Him!!!

Xing Ge was doing her best to save herself.

Grand Chancellor, please, you need to control yourself!

If you keep being this rough, you’ll never get married at this rate!

“Look! Someone’s behind you!”

“Oh? Is this Your Majesty’s new escape trick? How creative.”

The man leaned down and bit her face, his sharp teeth leaving a line of red marks.

“…”

She wasn’t a pig trotter. What the hell was he gnawing at her for?!

Her skin was practically about to come off!

“I’m serious. I’m not lying.”

“Oh.”

He answered indifferently, though the flush on his cheeks betrayed him.

Huang Sang uses "朕" (zhen). The imperial first-person pronoun that only emperors use aka a nickname for Xing Ge as the Emperor. Huang Sang
trembled. “I swear it on my own head, there’s really someone behind you!”

The Grand Chancellor’s voice was calm and lazy. “What would I even want with Your Majesty’s head? Be good and let go. I’m not in the mood for roast pork tonight.”

Huang Sang: “…”

Sob sob sob.

The Grand Chancellor was too scary!

A sudden sharp flash of light swept past.

Yu Ge instantly pulled her close, his brows furrowed in cold vigilance. “Who’s there? Come out!”

“Hehe, after so many years, Blood Young Master is as graceful as ever.”

A chilling male voice echoed from the darkness. His left eye was covered by a black eyepatch, and the other was blood-red. When his gaze swept over Xing Ge, it made her skin crawl.

“Oh my, impressive. You even found yourself a big protector.” He smirked.

Tsk tsk, so the notorious Blood Young Master prefers to be done by men. How about considering this humble one as well?”

Yu Ge’s expression darkened. Just as he was about to strike, Xing Ge stopped him.

That same “pitiful and slightly shameless” emperor who’d always seemed easy to bully now had a face as cold as frost. Her dark brows lifted slightly, and her deep voice carried an effortless, dangerous authority.

“Such a small fry. Don’t dirty your hands over him.”

Her eyes narrowed, and her tone dripped with deadly calm. “Now tell me, how would you like to die?”

Yu Ge stared at her in stunned silence.

The emperor adjusted her half-loosened robe with unhurried grace. Her fingers were long and slender, her movements elegant in a way that naturally carried the aura of royalty.

Her lips curved into an arrogant, almost wicked smile. “A little tip for you. It’s too late to run now.”

The man sneered. “I’d like to see you try—”

His last words were choked in his throat.

He froze, eyes wide with horror at the handsome face right in front of him.

“Well, since you didn’t choose, allow me,” Xing Ge said smoothly. “How about I break your neck and send you to the underworld myself?”

Crack—

The sound of bones snapping silenced everything.

Xing Ge stared impassively at the terror in his wide eyes until his body went limp. Only then did she release him, letting the corpse drop to the ground.

In a cultivation world where life was as cheap as grass, she’d lost count of how many she’d killed.

What was one more, anyway?

Besides, sharp fangs needed to taste blood once in a while or they’d rust.

Xing Ge’s lips curled into a faint smile.

“Your Majesty…”

A gentle voice called from behind. It trembled slightly, as if frightened.

Her body stiffened. Uh oh.

She’d gotten way too into character just now. Totally lost control of herself.

This was bad. Her persona was about to collapse!

She wanted to cry. If she could do it over, she’d definitely tone it down next time!

Before she could even turn around, a warm chest pressed against her back. The man’s head rested on her shoulder, nuzzling softly, his touch so tender and affectionate it made her brain short-circuit.

Xing Ge: “???”

What the heck was going on?!

Wasn’t this guy the same one who’d been all domineering and forceful earlier? Why the sudden 180?!

In truth, the Prime Minister’s inner monologue was something like this:

Holy sh**!

His Majesty is amazing!

So freaking hot!

Mother, I want to do him!

Oh wait, sleep with him!

Mom, I want to marry him!

Wait, no, not “marry,” that sounded too desperate.

He had to play it cool. Appear calm. Collected. Show that he still had dignity.

After all, the art of seduction required the perfect balance, push and pull.

But then…

Xing Ge blinked in disbelief at the sight of the Grand Chancellor lying down on his own accord.

“You… what are you doing?”

Somehow, she suddenly felt a lot of pressure.

“Your subject wishes to do what spring does to cherry blossoms, with Your Majesty.”

He blinked, eyes glinting with teasing charm. “Your Majesty may be as rough as you like. This subject will simply endure it.”

There was something sinful in the way he said it.

Xing Ge wanted to protest that she was pure and innocent, that she didn’t understand any of this!

“It’s getting late, my dear minister,” she stammered. “Let’s just, uh, head home and rest, alright?”

She laughed awkwardly, preparing to make a run for it.

Seriously, outdoors? Her tolerance for that kind of situation was nonexistent!

“Aiya!”

A sudden scream echoed behind her.

Xing Ge didn’t turn around. Stay calm. Stay calm. It’s a trap. It’s totally a trap.

But then, silence.

Wait… could something actually have happened?

After a moment’s hesitation, she cautiously glanced back.

Where was he?

Gone?!

Was he kidnapped?

Holy sh*t, did that weak chicken man have a backup plan?

Heart pounding, she rushed back, only to suddenly fall with a loud thud into a freshly dug pit.

Xing Ge: “…”

This was too much.

Was her magnificent Prime Minister planning to change careers to digging holes?

The man happily wrapped his arms around her, planting a big kiss on her cheek. “I knew His Majesty wouldn’t abandon me.”

Xing Ge wiped the saliva from her face, feeling her life flash before her eyes.

Still, she decided to struggle till the end.

“It’s too dark in here,” she said quickly. “I can’t see you… not really in the mood, you know?”

Without a word, the Prime Minister pulled out a massive night pearl. Its glow was so bright it turned her face ghostly white.

At this brightness, every creature within ten miles would come running to dig for treasure!

Being watched like this, she couldn’t take it!

“Ahem… I think the sand’s a bit too damp. Not very comfortable to lie on,” she said, grasping for any excuse.

The man, unfazed, pulled out a soft blanket, laid it neatly on the ground, and patted the spot beside him invitingly.

Xing Ge: You’ve got to be kidding me. You planned this, didn’t you?!

Finally, to defend her last shred of dignity, she blurted out, “I- I actually can’t perform! You know… physically!”

Silence.

She exhaled in relief.

Then he spoke again, his tone filled with motherly gentleness. “That’s alright. I’ll just work harder.”

“…”

She wanted to die.

No, no, this was a matter of principle!

She had to hold her ground, no matter what!
