EHEWASS CHAPTER 105

Chapter 105: Lu Jun

Seeing Lu Jun’s face darken like that, Li Dong couldn’t help wondering, had their talk fallen apart?

He immediately looked uneasy and was the first to apologize. “I’m sorry. I really didn’t mean to insult your profession.”

Lu Jun froze. “Are you out of your mind?” He twitched the corner of his mouth. Who apologized for something like that? Yet somehow, the words sounded damn good.

Moreover, he knew that this kind of high-quality man who was excellent from hair to toes was rare as phoenix feathers and qilin horns, absolutely not the type of person one could just randomly find on the street.

“No,” Li Dong shook his head, then glanced toward the window. “So we’ll land in seven days?” he murmured.

His handsome profile was impossibly good-looking.

Lu Jun’s chest tightened, and he jerked his gaze away in embarrassment. “Yeah. Seven days from now will be your death day. Scared?”

“Mm?” Li Dong tilted his head at him. “Didn’t you say I wasn’t in danger?”

“…” Lu Jun opened his mouth. “Hmph.” Sure, but a wicked impulse burned through him, pounding against his ribs. He just wanted to tease the man, to see him panic a little.

When Li Dong said nothing, he turned his head back toward the window.

After all, being on a boat was like this. Very boring, and he couldn’t go out to play.

“Tsk.” Lu Jun wasn’t bored. His blood was just rushing under his skin, hot and restless, itching for something to do.

Then, in the blink of an eye, a stunning face appeared right in front of Li Dong’s. Without a word, Lu Jun bit at the corner of his mouth.

That fierce, reckless style of his always hit like a storm.

However, as a veteran, Li Dong had to admit that being intimate with Lu Jun had an explosive, bomb-like sensation of pleasure.

He liked this little sun, bright and scorching enough to burn.

“Hmph…” Lu Jun watched his reaction with narrowed eyes, saw him finally give in, and let out a sly, wicked grin.

At that moment, his thoughts were viciously clear: I’ll turn this straight man gay within a year. If I can’t, I’ll quit and sell pancakes instead.

“Hey, Pei Ruozhen… you like kissing me too, don’t you?” Lu Jun gripped his chin with one hand, while unambiguously taking advantage of him with the other.

It felt so damn good. Pure bliss.

Li Dong shyly said nothing. He only raised his hand to slowly embrace the kidnapper’s waist. A certain hand weakly pinched the kidnapper’s perky bottom.

“…” Lu Jun went stiff. His pupils dilated like he’d just taken an aphrodisiac. F*ck, he, he, he was touching his a**.

Dead. He was dead.

“Mm?” Li Dong kissed him again, earnest as ever, every bit the serious straight man.

“Why’d you grab my a**?” Lu Jun asked, pretending to glare, though it only made the moment even hotter.

“You don’t like it? Then I won’t,” Li Dong said honestly, moving his hand away.

“Did I say I didn’t like it?” Lu Jun caught his hand again. “Who said you could stop? Keep going.” He had no plans to stop at all.

“Oh.” Li Dong obediently continued, showing off the legendary Li-family century-old kissing technique. Since they were both bored anyway, why not be happy while they were at it?

The results were tragic. Neither of their lips survived intact.

“Ow…” One touch hurt. Good grief.

“Want to go stretch your legs?” Lu Jun sat on the edge of the bed, one knee bent, one straight, watching his prey with smug satisfaction.

A proper aristocratic young master and a killer, they were born from two completely different worlds.

“Thanks, but not right now.” Li Dong rubbed his sore mouth. There was no way he could face people looking like this.

“Then tonight.” Lu Jun licked his teeth, eyes full of open hunger. “I’ll buy you a drink. How about it?”

Li Dong thought for a moment. “Alright.” He smiled.

The easy answer delighted Lu Jun. He leaned forward, tilting Li Dong’s chin.

“Again?” Li Dong wanted to die. Honestly, his lips were completely numb at this point.

“Scared?” Lu Jun chuckled and pecked him once on the cheek.

Like a cat that had just stolen cream, he looked thoroughly pleased with himself.

“I’m not scared.” Li Dong opened his mouth, bit the younger man’s finger, and saw his expression darken. “I can tell… you really like being with me.”

It was almost sticky, that feeling.

Was it adrenaline or something else entirely?

“You’re right,” Lu Jun admitted, brushing against those battered lips again, voice low and rough. “Then do you hate being with me?”

“…” Li Dong blushed immediately.

“F*ck…” Lu Jun clutched his chest like he’d been shocked. This had to be illegal.

“Don’t kiss me anymore,” Li Dong said, stopping his face from coming closer. “My mouth hurts.”

Lu Jun only laughed, cocky as ever, idly tracing a finger along his chin.

By evening, a neat stack of books, tea, snacks, and fruit sat beside Li Dong, all Lu Jun’s doing. He didn’t want his adorable, leg-weakening prey to get bored.

As for himself, he sat nearby, sometimes staring into space, sometimes at Li Dong, expression unreadable.

“Hey?”

The voice broke Li Dong’s concentration. He looked up with a smile. “Xiao Jun, it’s six. Should we go have dinner?”

An hour later, the ship’s public entertainment hall bustled with people.

A handsome young man followed another man of refined grace, looking utterly impatient.

F*ck.

He had no idea what was supposed to be fun about this place.

“Xiao Jun, come dance,” Li Dong said, waving him over.

“Dance? I don’t dance.” Lu Jun frowned at the crowd, where everyone held cocktails and moved to the beat in chaotic rhythm.

“You just move your body a bit. Anyone can do it.” Li Dong smiled, handed him a cocktail. “Here.”

“So tacky…” Lu Jun thought of square dancing but didn’t refuse. “Fine, I’ll humor you.” He raised his glass.

“Thanks, I’m happy,” Li Dong said, clinking glasses before taking a graceful sip.

His cheeks flushed, his smile soft, and his body swayed gently to the music.

Lu Jun’s heart pounded. The taller man moved closer, and once again his throat went dry.

So damn handsome. He wanted—

“…” He swallowed hard.

Dancing like this, pressed close to such an enchanting man, might be the most elegant and romantic thing Lu Jun had ever done.

And for once, his mind wasn’t focused solely on sex. It was weird as hell.

After all, physical pleasure was the true king. What was love even supposed to be?

He’d never thought he’d have anything to do with something as ridiculous as feelings. All he cared about was beauty.

But life had other plans. When he found himself holding a man close, burning with desire yet choosing to restrain it, he could already sense it. His perfect killer’s career was coming to an end.

“Xiao Jun…” Li Dong murmured, hugging the younger man back. He was half a head taller but shamelessly rested his chin on Lu Jun’s shoulder.

Out of sight, Lu Jun pressed his lips together, uncharacteristically solemn.

His thoughts tangled into a headache. “What?” Sure, he could give up the gun for this man but how likely was it that a cultured, well-bred aristocrat would ever fall for someone like him?

“I can’t drink much,” Li Dong said softly. “Feeling a little dizzy.”

“Then I’ll take you back.” Lu Jun greedily held him, absorbing the warm aura from his body.

“No, I want to walk on the deck,” Li Dong said, shaking his head.

“What?” Lu Jun’s mouth twitched. “Go on deck in this weather? Are you crazy?”

“Mm?” Hot breath brushed against his neck as Li Dong leaned in.

“Don’t go…” Lu Jun tried to sound fierce, but the strain in his voice gave him away completely.

Li Dong was surprised. The Lu Jun he remembered had always been carefree.

Now being so warm and exposing his true self, he felt very unaccustomed instead.

But who didn’t want to be treated sincerely once they’d given sincerity themselves?

Li Dong leaned against him, savoring the moment’s warmth.

Comfortable, but a little dizzy.

When he opened his eyes again, he was back in their small cabin.

Everything was silent and dark.

His hands and feet were free; he could move as he liked.

Beside him was a solid warmth, a leg and an arm draped possessively over him.

“Xiao Jun?” Li Dong nudged him.

“Mm?” Lu Jun stirred, voice groggy and furious. “What the f*ck do you want this early?” He hugged him tighter and went back to sleep.

“This.” Li Dong guided Lu Jun’s hand downward. “Isn’t this what you like?” Before the stunned man could react, he flipped over and pinned him down.

“F*ck…” Lu Jun’s world trembled with excitement, shaking so much he couldn’t see north, south, east, or west, up, down, left, or right.

“You don’t like it?” Li Dong asked in a low voice.

“Bullsh*t!” Lu Jun growled, wrapping his arms around him. He bit his shoulder lightly. He loved it! Loved it too much.

It was a surprise within a surprise.

But why was the other man being so forward?

Lu Jun thought with his clever brain and immediately imagined a scheming boy’s escape plan.

The conclusion was: Pei Ruozhen wanted to use a honey trap to escape captivity. There was no unrealistic love or emotion.

Everything was just that simple.
