000: Let’s Talk About the Tone Shift LOL
Hiiii! If you wandered in here from EHEWASS or HOYSE, I know the tone shift might feel a little whiplashy, so lemme explain.
I really tried to match AHTT’s writing style to the more mature, steady tone of EHEWASS and HOYSE at first. Both of these lean serious, tho can be funny still and feel more polished, but AHTT just isn’t built that way. The more I tried to polish it, the more its humor disappeared.
It’s the type of story where you just shut your brain off and laugh at stupid things for a bit and honestlyyyy? I needed something like that. Whenever I tried to force it into the EHEWASS/HOYSE shalala, it lost everything that made it funny in the first place. So I just let it be silly, fun, and ridiculous the way it’s supposed to be.
I’m sure this won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, and that’s okay~ After this, I’m planning to pick up another story that the previous TL team dropped again. I won’t reveal the title yet. Perhaps by the time I’m back from vacation, someone else has already revived it, which would actually be great because it has really solid reviews so far!
I’m still reading AHTT myself, so hopefully it keeps up the momentum.

P.S. I know you’re not wondering, but imma tell you anywaysss that one of the biggest reasons I picked this story up was because of the catto. Ehe~
